Struktury dźwiękowe składają się z zestawów fal akustycznych o odpowiednio dobranych częstotliwościach i amplitudach oraz ciszy pomiędzy nimi. Celem muzyki jest oddziaływanie na świadomość słuchacza. Jest zjawiskiem odbieranym subiektywnie, zależnym od indywidualnych skłonności, wcześniejszych doświadczeń, społecznych kryteriów wartości, aktualnego nastroju i wielu innych czynników. Od mowy ludzkiej różni się znacznie większą abstrakcyjnością przekazywanych treści oraz wykorzystaniem oprócz głosu ludzkiego również instrumentów muzycznych. W tradycyjnym i najbardziej rozpowszechnionym ujęciu, struktury muzyczne składają się z rytmu, melodii oraz harmonii. Rozpatrując ten problem bardziej szczegółowo, podział wygląda następująco (są to tzw. elementy dzieła muzycznego):

W oświacie to były stracone miesiące

Z funkcji naczelnika miejskiego wydziału edukacji i sportu odeszła naczelnik Agata Ledwoń. Urząd piastowała od 8 marca. W trakcie niespełna pięciu miesięcy nie udało się w oświacie zmienić niemal niczego.

• New 7 Wonders - This project offered the public the opportunity to vote for the new seven wonders of the world. Results were announced on 7 July 2007. It gives condensed, illustrated descriptions of the winners and other finalists.
• Made of Light - A project conceived and designed by Speirs and Major Associates, which aims to provide a thought-provoking presentation of the art of light and architecture.
• Galinsky - A showcase for the world's most exciting modern buildings. Photographs, descriptions and visitor information for more than 200 buildings across Europe, North and South America and the Asia-Pacific region, searchable by architect or region.
• Floornature - Interviews with architects, news, flooring projects with man made tiles. Manufacturing process, environmental impact and international standards for ceramic tiles and man made stones.
• Arounder - This online travel magazine offers a huge collection of 360-degree Quicktime virtual reality full-screen panoramas of world-class architectural, artistic and historical landmarks.
• Architypes.net - A library of architectural design issues, solutions and ideas, built up by collaboration and mostly available to share under a Creative Commons license. Images and commentary.
• Architecture for Humanity - A volunteer non-profit organization set up to promote architecture and design to seek solutions to global social and humanitarian crisis.
• Ribanet - Professional association of architects in the United Kingdom along with international members. News, exhibitions, online shopping, directories of architects, British Architectural Library.
• Archiseek - Architecture forums, planning news, architectural competition announcements, and guides to the architecture of selected countries and cities.
• Archiplanet - A community-created a collection of architectural information using MediaWiki software. It covers many thousands of buildings, architects and firms worldwide, and a large number of images.
• Archinform - International architectural database listing thousands of built and unbuilt projects. 20th-century architecture is the main theme.
• Arbitat - Pictures and slideshows of architecturally interesting buildings from around the world, features on current projects (submissions accepted) and biographies of famous archirects.
• World View - The Architectural League of New York presents persectives on architecture and urbanism from around the globe. Includes illustrated reports on Beirut, Caracas, Dhaka, Oslo and Tijuana.
• Godden Structural Engineering Slide Library - University of California collection of 560 engineering slides from around the world. Historic and modern structures: beams, arches, cable and suspension, domes and shells, columns, frames, grids, slabs and trusses.
• The Virtual Study Tour - The New Zealand School of Architecture presents computer models of a selection of buildings ancient, modern and proposed, including a sustainable eco-house.
• Arqhys - The English-language version of a portal created by architecture students in the Dominican Republic. Covers architectural history, famous architects and buildings monuments, and methods and materials of construction.
